Este espacio reunirá a estudiantes, docentes e investigadores/as de Colombia, Argentina y Alemania para dialogar y formarse en torno a temas vinculados a la educación, las memorias, la justicia social, la sostenibilidad ambiental y los derechos humanos.
¿Qué propone este espacio formativo?
Se abordarán estrategias pedagógicas basadas en el arte y la memoria, la manera en que las narrativas del pasado configuran el presente, y herramientas para enfrentar el negacionismo y la banalización de la violencia.
¿Cómo se desarrollará la propuesta?
Desde un enfoque situado, interdisciplinario y decolonial, integrando emociones, corporalidades y prácticas pedagógicas innovadoras.

Filo participa en esta iniciativa a través del Proyecto "Interweaved Horizons: Dialogues on Historical-Political Education and Sustainable Development" (2025-2028), financiado por la DAAD.
Resumen del proyecto:
"Interweaved Horizons: Dialogues on Historical-Political Education and Sustainable Development" proposes an exchange and mutual learning program aimed at future school teachers to address significant challenges such as political polarization and violence, discrimination, climate change and ecological degradation in Germany, Argentina, and Colombia. In this context of threat to democratic values and sustainability, we argue that education is a critical tool for promoting peace, justice, and transitions towards more sustainable practice from a perspective of global learning. The project fosters collaborative and mutual learning among universities in the Global South and North, focusing on historical-political education and sustainable development to equip educators and students with the necessary skills to tackle these challenges.
The partner universities in this project include Justus Liebig University Gießen (JLU) in Germany, the National Pedagogical University (UPN) in Bogotá (Colombia), the Surcolombiana University in Neiva (Colombia), the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco (UNPSJB) in Comodoro Rivadavia (Argentina), and the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in Argentina. These institutions will work closely together to develop and implement mainly teaching activities, as well as complementary activities in research and university management. Drawing on the unique historical experiences of these countries, the project highlights Germany's contribution on balancing consensus and controversy in political education, Argentina's pioneering work in education, memory, justice, and truth, and Colombia's extensive experience in peace education and the importance of ecosystems in memory processes and peacebuilding. The project also responds to current issues, such as recent steps forward in education for sustainable development in Germany, as well as the current political will in Colombia to foster environmental education and link it to existing efforts in the field of peace education. Last but not least, in Argentina, the project aims to strengthen the reliance of education, subnational educational authorities and teacher training against the current backdrop in the government of president Milei. The project, though, includes joint approaches to strengthen political-historical education and education for sustainable development and it offers valuable insights for developing joint strategies that encourage critical and sensitive citizenship.
