Spanish as a foreign language

Spanish as a foreign language

Students must have a good oral and written command of Spanish, as this is a prerequisite for studying at the Faculty. All courses are taught in Spanish, and students should be prepared for oral presentation and written evaluations.

The required level is "Intermediate Spanish" (B2).

Spanish exam

All non-Spanish speaking students are required to take the Intermediate Spanish Examination, which aims to assess their language skills and recommend the most appropriate courses for their needs. The exam is non-exclusive and is taken after students have registered with the Faculty.

Laboratorio de Idiomas

The Faculty has a Language Centre, which is one of the most renowned language teaching centres in the country. The Spanish as a Foreign Language Programme has two main areas: Spanish language courses and certification in Spanish language proficiency.  The Programme offers courses for all levels, from students with no previous knowledge of the Spanish language to advanced students.
