Visa/Residence
The visa or residence permit must be applied for by students in Buenos Aires, at the Dirección Nacional de Migraciones (National Direction of Migration). All foreign students must complete this procedure after completing their enrolment at the Faculty. To do so, the Faculty will give them their official accreditation or "Constancia" and an "Instructivo" with the necessary instructions. Obtaining the Visa/Residence is an indispensable requirement to have the status of students of the Faculty.
Required documents:
-Non-Mercosur students applying for a visa/residence for 6 months or less: they will only need to bring their passport.
-Non-Mercosur students applying for a visa/residence for 1 year: they will need to bring a "Criminal Record Certificate" from their country of origin, with the Hague Apostille.
-Students from Mercosur countries and Associated States: all students must bring a "Criminal Record Certificate" from their country of origin, regardless of the term of their exchange.
